Greek life at Bridgewater State University puts emphasis on philanthropy, volunteer work, community, and campus connections. Alpha Sigma Tau is a proud contributor to Bridgewater State’s Greek life activities. AST is the newest sorority on campus, Epsilon Sigma chapter being founded on May 3rd, 2014. Since the colonization of AST our sisters show the Bridgewater campus community how amazing our sisterhood is by showing pride in everything we stands for. We worked hard to become successful and obtain our goal capacity of members. The sisters aimed to find sisters who exemplify activeness, self-reliance, and trustworthiness.
Looking at clubs and activities on campus, more often than not you’ll see an AST sister contributing to the organization. Our sisters are diverse and motivated being a part of many campus activities! That doesn’t mean we don’t have any commonalities, it’s quite the opposite really. Every year we make our presence known at Relay for Life in large numbers, showing our support and care for the foundation and the campus. We also have a large presence at the Heartbeats for Down Syndrome Buddy Walk. These are two of many activities we try to do together as a sisterhood. We work with our local philanthropy, Heartbeats for Down syndrome, every year as well very enthusiastically!
